In late 2024, Switch Mobility announced two new electric buses: the EiV12 in India and the E1 for the European market specifically․ The latter is built with a monocoque chassis, in-wheel motors, and a 400 kWh NMC battery pack․ Weighing two tonnes less than some competitors, it is among the lightest mass-produced electric buses in Europe with a capacity of 93 passengers․
