Smilex was launched in 2000 in a small 500 sq.ft office in Deccan. We transformed the practice into a company in 2008. Over time, we started a chain of dental centers, diagnostic centers, and CDE education programs. With the passage of time, we gained experience and had more clarity about the company's goal. He has received 6 awards in dentistry and has been in private practice since 1992. Besides that, he was teaching in various universities in India. He has performed thousands of dental implants and has trained thousands of dentists in India. He has been a pioneer in implantology, who has presented guest lectures at national and international conferences. He was the chairman of the ICDRO world congress in 2011, 2012, and 2013.As an entrepreneur, he has founded several companies, including ICDRO, Axennic Pharmaceuticals, and Smilex Oralcare Pvt Ltd. For his great contribution to dental care, he has been awarded the “Dr. Ratan Memorial Award for Outstanding Dentist in India” and recognized as a Healthcare Icon by the Times of India.Today, Dr. Vijay Deshmukh is considered to be among the top dentists in Pune and is a dentist that people can rely on, for his expertise, experience, and the care he shows to his patients.
